The Green Janitor Education Program is a 30-hour, LEED-certified program dedicated to training union janitors on modern, effective green cleaning techniques and energy efficiency strategies for buildings’ overall decarbonization strategies. The curriculum covers topics from green cleaning products to water conservation, waste diversion, recycling, tenant education, and even worker health and safety. Program graduates learn how to implement these best practices at work and at home.
This is not an elective class but is organized with the building. Class is held during work hours.
